AmericaFest 2025: Inside the Rise of the MAHA Movement with Alex Clark
AmericaFest 2025 was a conservative’s dream come true. A building filled with thousands of patriots, many devout Christians, and passion for the administration’s effort to Make America Healthy Again.
I was able to sit down with the MAHA queen herself, Alex Clark. Alex runs Culture Apothecary, one of the fastest-growing MAHA podcasts, as more than 1 million cross-platform subscribers tune in weekly to hear from Clark’s latest guest or what new organic tea she’s about to spill.
Clark didn’t grow up in a plastic-free, organic, or anti-pesticide household. She revealed that she spent most of her youth eating fast food and indulging in boxed products. Alex never turned down cheap chicken noodle soup, Goldfish, or extra-glazed cinnamon rolls.
Although her health background was far from perfect, Clark’s mother’s dedication to common homemade meals did plant seeds of health-consciousness that would grow later in life.
The 2020 pandemic stimulated Clark’s interest in diet and exercise. What she found rocked her world.
Clark stated, “It wasn’t until the pandemic, when we started having food shortages, that I started to look into where the heck our food comes from. What really got the wheels turning was when they mandated us to get the vaccine in order to participate in a free society.”
The often unscientific disturbances of 2020, along with the stringent vaccine mandate, led Clark to question the existing authorities—a combination of academia, government agencies, and Big Pharma. She dedicated her time to educating herself on the healthcare system and resolving her burning question.
Alex Clark came to the realization that the American health system actively harms our everyday lives. She discovered that the game is rigged.
Clark stated, “I thought this was just how it is—you turn fifty years old and you’re on 7 to 12 different medications, and that’s just the American way. It is the American way, but it is not supposed to be.”
Of the major issues inside our healthcare system, the ingredients in vaccinations stand out. Our doctors are not educated on the specific ingredients and effects of vaccines, and this should concern us.
With previous authorities proving untrustworthy, many influencers push their own health tips and “programs.” In this new environment, it’s important to recognize and understand your own body and what applies to your personal health.
Clark states, “We’ve done their way, for what, I don’t know, 75 to 100 years. How have we turned out? We are sicker than we’ve ever been, so clearly it hasn’t been working.”
I asked Clark how we, as Gen Z Americans, can decipher between facts and fads when it comes to our health. Clark listed four keys:
First and foremost, get to know your own body.
Take the time to do a complete reset.
Get rid of ultra-processed food.
Commit to 90 days of a clean lifestyle.
Clark says, “The problem with American health today is that they (the healthcare system) act like it’s a one-size-fits-all approach, and it’s not.”
As many of us begin or continue our wellness journeys, we must take the time to dive deeply into who is funding influential studies. HHS nominee Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is looking to achieve transparency and stop funding that pushes studies to be released with inaccurate information.
As many have seen, there has been a theory circulating that RFK Jr. is not fit to be the Health and Human Services Director because he is not a doctor.
Clark commented, “Besides maybe one, every single Health and Human Services Director was not a doctor. This is just fake news. These are the things they try to sling at us, and they have never cared about this before.”
RFK Jr. has spent his life dedicated to discovery and understanding of our healthcare system, yet the left is ready to do anything possible to demolish the MAHA movement.
The current administration is fighting to improve the American healthcare system and food industry for everyone, yet the left still is not happy.
Could it be that it’s not the information, but rather that the Trump Administration is the one releasing it?
Americans are unhealthier than they have ever been. We must seek change.
According to Alex Clark, these are three steps you can take toward a healthier lifestyle:
Do not sleep with your phone in your room, but if you must, turn it on airplane mode (your alarm will still work).
Switch from purified water to spring water. You can stop buying electrolytes to add to your water because spring water has natural electrolytes.
Read your Bible. Alex suggests starting in the book of John—or even the book of Mark if you’re feeling crazy.
BONUS: Do your very best to go to bed at a decent time and wake up to a beautiful sunrise. Circadian rhythm is important.
You may be familiar with the question, “If you could offer one remedy to heal a sick culture, physically, emotionally, or spiritually, what would it be?” Alex asks every guest this exact question at the end of her podcasts. I took the time to ask her.
Clark answered, “Finding a good God-fearing community. Surround yourself with men or women that can hold you accountable, that are fun, and that are going to encourage you in your walk with Christ…those are the people that are going to be with you through thick and thin.”
Alex Clark and the Trump administration are both doing their parts to promote the MAHA lifestyle. But they can’t make life changes for you. Take advantage of the movement’s momentum. Start simple. Start small. If you stick to it, expect big results.
Honor God, nurture your body, live well.
