Even Democrats Admit Republicans are Nicer
It’s official. Even democrats are admitting the truth: conservatives are just nicer.
Recently, media personality Bill Maher made uncharacteristic remarks on a podcast episode with Cheryl Hines, wife of HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., remarked at the kindness of republicans compared to democrats.
The exchange began with Maher recounting a recent dinner with President Trump, where, despite arguments, Maher maintained “[Trump] does not want to cut me off, which is not something I can say about the left.”
“Republicans have been very kind to me, from the beginning. Even from the beginning, when Bobby was running as a Democrat, they weren’t mean, and they never have been. And I can’t say that for the Democrats,” Hines stated.
Maher is not known as a glowing supporter of the Republican Party. Though he has also criticized various wings of the democratic party, he is on the record saying that he believes the republicans are “even worse.” Additionally, just three weeks ago Maher slammed Trump for his ballroom renovations, accusing him of dictatorial intentions.
Yet, even to Maher, the truth is undeniable. Republicans, traditionally considered more judgemental and hardline, has recently become the kinder option.
“I’m not going to pretend I don’t notice, how different they are, how mean they’ve become,” Maher says about the democrats.
Democratic Senator John Fetterman agrees.
Fetterman defended similar remarks he made in his book “Unfettered” on CNN. “I’ve drunk deeply of the venom of both the left and the right. And I can confirm the most poisonous, the bitterest, is from the far left.”
In his experience, the right will call names, but the left wishes death upon you.
Of course, though the CNN reporter interviewing Fetterman appeared shocked, but neither Fetterman’s nor Maher's comments will surprise the average American.
For good measure, recent leftist riots have reinforced the growing discrepancy in demeanor between the two parties.
At the last stop of Turning Point USA’s “American Comeback Tour” at UC Berkeley, chaos broke out.
The tour which launched at Utah Valley University the day Charlie Kirk was assassinated concluded its last campus stop and was met with aggressive and masked protestors. Footage circulated of protestors lighting flares in crowds intentionally using vehicle backfires to simulate the sound of gunfire.
Online, the riot organizers justified the violence by labelling TPUSA as a “youth-oriented campaign of incitement to violence.” The same poster called on members to defend various grievance groups from “all fascist intimidation.”
Like this obviously fascist mother pushing her two teenage girls through a screaming mob while attempting to leave the TPUSA event.
Right.
Americans are smarter than this. We are tired of being told to not believe our own eyes. We are tired of being called fascists all the while Democrats ignore and excuse violence and celebrate political assassination. Enough.
Thankfully, it seems like some democrats are getting tired of it too.
