An All-American Weekend At Indiana University
God • Family • Country
There are some things that are quintessentially American: good food, good company, and college football. On the third stop of The Young Right’s nationwide Tailgate Tour, the Hoosiers showed us exactly why.
The Hoosiers were enthusiastic and full of energy despite the early-morning tailgate for Indiana vs. Ohio State. Rows of tents stretched throughout the tailgating fields as students and parents gathered for a morning of camaraderie and school spirit.
In partnership with SAE, The Young Right welcomed over 2,800 people to the tailgate, complete with food, music, merch, and plenty of giveaways. Students loved our “America 250” koozies and shirts, and our hats ran out within minutes of our tailgate opening. In partnership with Fox Nation, we hosted a raffle for a Yeti cooler. Crowds of students poured in throughout the morning, many of whom had already heard about The Young Right and came looking for us.
Beyond the giveaways and the turnout, what made the event so special were the conversations we had with students. So many were excited about The Young Right and our mission, and expressed their love of our “God, Family, Football” sign. One parent even came up to us and jokingly asked, “If you’re The Young Right, is there still room for the old right?”
Of course there is!
It is clear the conservative movement is reviving across generations. We saw firsthand just how passionate young people are about conservative ideas. Our mission, to “make conservative cool again,” is about building a community that brings people together in real life. Our Indiana tailgate was another great example of that.
A huge thank-you to SAE and Fox Nation for helping make this tailgate possible. But most importantly, thank YOU, the students, for stopping by and making our event memorable.
Our work has only just begun, and we’ll continue moving forward, Never Daunted!
